From launching Australia's first ATM to helping shape the future of digital payments, we continue to transform the way money moves.\n Your Opportunity\nWe’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Group Risk & Compliance team.\nIn this role, you’ll play an important part in the operational oversight of regulatory compliance across Cuscal, with a focus on regulatory obligation management, compliance assurance, regulatory change and financial product compliance.\nYou’ll also make an impact by:\nSupporting the ongoing management of Cuscal’s compliance framework and risk and compliance system\nMaintaining key compliance registers, monitoring plans, training plans and consolidated compliance reporting\nDeveloping and reviewing compliance policies, standards and guidance\nPerforming compliance reviews and control assurance activities to assess adherence to key regulatory obligations\nProactively monitoring emerging regulatory and legislative change, assessing potential impacts and recommending appropriate actions\nProviding stakeholders with updates and guidance on regulatory developments across APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirements\nSupporting regulatory certifications, reporting and engagement\nOverseeing the risk and compliance training calendar and contributing to the design of compliance training programs\nSupporting audit activities and responses to external information requests\nProviding regular and ad hoc compliance reporting and analysis to management.\n What You’ll Bring\nYou’re an experienced compliance professional with a strong understanding of the Australian financial services regulatory landscape and the ability to turn complex obligations into practical guidance.\nYou’re comfortable working autonomously, have strong judgement and attention to detail and can build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.\nYou’ll also bring:\nExtensive compliance or regulatory experience within the Australian financial services or payment services industry \nDemonstrated experience with interpreting and managing financial service obligations\nA strong understanding of compliance management principles, structures and processes\nExperience designing and implementing effective compliance management frameworks within financial services\nKnowledge of APRA standards and requirements for operating as an ADI\nKnowledge of AML/CTF legislation, the Privacy Act and AFSL requirements\nStrong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building capabilities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating regulatory obligations and emerging regulatory changes\nThe ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exercise sound judgement\n Why Cuscal?\nAt Cuscal, you’ll experience interesting work that’s transforming.
