Forward with Cuscal.\n Your Opportunity\nWe’re looking for a Product Manager, Payments to join our Payments Domain.\nReporting to the Senior Product Manager, Payment Services, you’ll be responsible for planning and managing the product roadmap and strategy across services including Direct Entry, BPAY Payer, BPAY Biller, RTGS and Chequing Services.\nYou’ll define the vision, positioning and objectives for your product portfolio while ensuring each solution delivers value for clients and supports Cuscal’s growth strategy. You’ll monitor product performance, market trends, financial outcomes and client needs to maintain competitiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.\nYou’ll also make an impact by:\nOwning and managing the product roadmap, strategy and backlog in line with business and client priorities\nAssessing market trends, competitor offerings and client needs to guide product positioning and feature development\nPartnering with Product Owners and squads to develop and launch products that support client needs and business growth\nTranslating client and stakeholder challenges into clear product enhancements, requirements and priorities\nMonitoring product metrics, service levels, costs, pricing and profitability\nDeveloping commercially sustainable and scalable product solutions\nCollaborating with Client Partnerships, Business Development, Marketing and Operations to support client growth and revenue\nManaging product compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, policies and industry standards\nBuilding relationships with clients, vendors, schemes, industry bodies and internal stakeholders\nRepresenting Cuscal and its clients in relevant industry working groups and forums\nMaintaining product documentation, sales tools, training materials and technical information\nSupporting the annual budget process and identifying commercial efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities\n What you’ll bring\nYou’re an experienced product professional with a strong understanding of electronic payments and financial services. You can balance product strategy, commercial performance and client needs while working effectively across technical and business teams.\nYou’re comfortable managing complex products from strategy through to implementation. You take a structured and analytical approach to solving problems and can influence stakeholders at different levels.\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll bring:\nAt least three years of product management experience within financial services\nA thorough understanding of the electronic payments industry\nExperience managing product lifecycles and applying product development frameworks\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments\nDemonstrated experience delivering complex product implementations\nExperience developing business cases for new products or product enhancements\nAn understanding of revenue drivers, product costs and profitability levers\nThe ability to interpret accounting and financial information\nExperience preparing proposals for prospective clients\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills\nExcellent communication and presentation capabilities\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills\nTertiary qualifications in a commercial or business discipline or equivalent practical experience \nYou’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:\nExperience working in a fast-paced payments product environment\nStrong knowledge of payments, banking or enablement products\nAn understanding of supplier and competitor offerings within the payments market\nExperience working with payment schemes, industry bodies or external vendors\nExperience working effectively in a hybrid environment\n Why Cuscal?\nAt Cuscal, you’ll find a strong, successful company that’s reimagining the future.
