This role is responsible for providing oversight of portfolio management activities, ensuring the consistent implementation and adherence to credit risk policies, standards, and procedures across the organisation. The role also provides independent oversight of First Line credit risk practices and delivers data-driven insights to support informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and portfolio performance.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nOverseeing the management Cuscal's credit limits and associated exposures in a pro-active manner, including maintenance of various credit risk models in accordance with Credit Risk Policy.\nMaintaining and administering credit risk policy, standards and procedures that support the level of risk appetite as determined by the Board of Directors and ensures adherence to all relevant regulation.\nOverseeing the maintenance of an up-to-date limits and review framework for all exposures.\nReviewing and endorsing all credit applications and periodic reviews.\nDeveloping and maintaining risk methodologies for chargeback/refund risk\nProviding technical credit risk support and analysis to first line risk businesses\nManaging the preparation of Board and Risk Management committee papers.\nLiaising with APRA as required.\nProviding insights with the ongoing improvement to existing credit risk related policies and procedures and their implementation.\nIdentifying and analysing emerging credit/counterparty risks and providing these results, including the completion portfolio and industry papers to key internal stakeholders.\nProviding information, training, advice and tools to the first line of defence to assist them to identify, manage and +monitor risks.\nAssisting with completing credit risk related remediation actions.\n You will stand out if you have:\nIn-depth knowledge of APS 220, 221 and APS 222 and general knowledge of the APRA prudential environment\nStrong knowledge of credit analysis techniques\nUnderstanding of credit procedures and management systems\nExperience with loan security documentation\nSound knowledge of balance sheet risk management and accounting practices\nGood understanding of Treasury credit risks including credit pricing, fair and relative value analysis\nExperience working with Regulators \nData analytics (Excel, Power BI, SQL)\nRisk management (CFA, FRM, PRM preferred) \nWhy Cuscal?\nAt Cuscal, you’ll experience interesting work that’s transforming.
