From launching Australia’s first ATM to being the first certified NPP PayTo Payer and Initiator in 2022, we’ve spent over 60 years building solutions that millions of Australians rely on every day.\nNow, we’re preparing for what’s next, and we want you to be part of it.\nJoin us as a Senior Platform Engineer in our Engineering Practice team and help us deliver ground-breaking solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible.\n The Senior Platform Engineer designs, builds and operates Cuscal’s internal engineering platforms, providing secure, scalable and self-service delivery capabilities that reduce cognitive load for product squads and streamline the software development lifecycle.\nThe role focuses on internal developer platforms, CI/CD enablement, GitHub administration, Terraform automation, observability uplift and platform onboarding automation.\nDesign, operate and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Terraform Cloud\nEmbed CI/CD best practice for build, test, deployment, release management and environment promotion\nBuild and maintain reusable infrastructure automation patterns using Terraform and approved platform modules\nCollaborate with Cloud Platform teams on cloud standards, shared services, guardrails and operational readiness requirements\nBuild observability capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry\n What you’ll bring\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll have:\nBackground in platform engineering, internal developer platforms or engineering enablement product delivery.\nStrong capability in CI/CD pipeline architecture, governance and continuous delivery practices\nExtensive GitHub administration experience, including policies, runners, workflow security, repository governance and access controls\nProficiency in Terraform modules, Infrastructure as Code automation, GitOps patterns and environment orchestration\nKnowledge of observability tooling including Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry\nStrong troubleshooting skills across pipelines, infrastructure, platform integrations and operational incidents\nWhy Cuscal?\nAt Cuscal, you’ll find a strong, successful company that’s reimagining the future.
