The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality valuation and advisory services across a diverse retail property portfolio, including shopping centres, high street assets, retail parks, and mixed-use developments.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work with institutional investors, lenders, property companies, and occupiers on complex and high-profile assignments across the UK market.\nKey Responsibilities\nUndertake valuations of retail assets for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition, disposal, and strategic advisory purposes.\nProduce detailed valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.\nAnalyse market trends, transactional evidence, occupier demand, and investment performance within the retail sector.\nBuild and maintain financial models and cash flow analyses.\nSupport senior team members on large portfolio instructions and client pitches.\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and market insight.\nCollaborate with wider capital markets, leasing, and advisory teams across the business.\nContribute to business development initiatives and thought leadership within the retail sector.\nEnsure compliance with internal governance, risk management, and professional standards.\nSkills & Experience\nMRICS qualified (or close to qualification).\nExperience within commercial property valuation, ideally with exposure to retail assets.\nStrong understanding of UK retail property markets and valuation methodologies.\nExcellent analytical and report-writing skills.\nAdvanced Excel and financial modelling capability.\nStrong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple instructions and work effectively under pressure.\nProactive, detail-oriented, and commercially aware mindset.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDegree in Real Estate, Property, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.\nExperience working within a consultancy, advisory, or professional services environment.\nFamiliarity with Argus Enterprise or equivalent valuation software is advantageous.\nWhat We Offer\nExposure to market-leading retail valuation and advisory assignments.\nA collaborative and entrepreneurial working environment.\nStructured career progression and professional development opportunities.\nCompetitive salary and performance-related bonus.\nComprehensive benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and flexible working arrangements.\nEqual Opportunities\nCushman & Wakefieldis committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background.\nPlease note this is a direct search led by Cushman & Wakefield.
