This role is suited to an MRICS-qualified surveyor with strong commercial valuation experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a leading global real estate advisory business.\nThe successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality valuation advice to a broad client base including lenders, investors, developers and property companies. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of valuation instructions, develop client relationships and work closely with experienced valuation professionals and colleagues across the wider business.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor looking to progress into an Associate position, or an existing Associate seeking a new challenge within a growing regional team.\nKey Responsibilities\nUndertake and manage valuations for a variety of purposes, including:\nSecured lending\nFinancial reporting\nAcquisitions and disposals\nPortfolio analysis\nStrategic advisory assignments\nCore Duties\nTake responsibility for delivering valuation instructions from initial engagement through to completion, with appropriate senior oversight.\nCarry out property inspections and prepare high-quality valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.\nProvide valuation and advisory services across a broad range of commercial property assets.\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and excellent service delivery.\nAct as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day valuation matters.\nWork closely with colleagues across agency, capital markets, lease advisory and valuation teams nationally to provide coordinated client advice.\nDevelop strong market knowledge and provide insight into market trends, transactions and valuation movements.\nSupport senior colleagues and Partners with business development, client pitches and the identification of new opportunities.\nContribute to the development of junior team members and share technical and market knowledge across the team.\nEnsure all work is delivered to a high professional and quality standard, in line with internal risk and compliance procedures.\nSkills & Experience\n MRICS qualified, ideally with RICS Registered Valuer status.\nRelevant experience within commercial property valuation, ideally at Surveyor/Senior Surveyor or Associate level.\nStrong experience preparing valuation reports for secured lending, financial reporting and advisory purposes.\nGood understanding of commercial property investment markets and valuation methodologies.\nStrong analytical, numerical, organisational and report-writing skills.\nCommercial awareness with confidence in client-facing situations.\nProven ability to manage valuation instructions and workloads effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.\nA proactive approach to business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team.\nFull UK driving licence required.\nCushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
