This senior leadership position is ideally suited to an experienced valuation professional with a strong track record across commercial real estate, proven client relationship management capabilities, and the ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse valuation portfolio, driving revenue growth, ensuring the delivery of high-quality valuation and advisory services, and maintaining the highest standards of professional compliance and governance. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, extensive market knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships with lenders, investors, occupiers, developers and institutional clients.\nIn addition to leading client assignments, the Divisional Director will contribute to business development initiatives, support key client relationships, mentor and develop future leaders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and continued success of the valuation business.\nCore Responsibilities\nLead and manage a portfolio of valuation instructions across commercial property sectors.\nProvide valuation and strategic advisory services for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition, disposal and investment purposes.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, lenders, investors, developers and professional contacts.\nIdentify and secure new business opportunities to support divisional growth objectives.\nOversee the delivery of valuation reports, ensuring accuracy, quality and compliance with professional standards.\nProvide market insight and strategic advice to clients on asset performance, portfolio strategy and market trends.\nLead, mentor and develop valuation surveyors and junior team members.\nCollaborate with colleagues across Capital Markets, Asset Services, Agency, Development and Occupier Services teams.\nManage divisional performance, resource planning and financial targets.\nRepresent the business at industry events and maintain a strong market profile.\nSupport major client pitches, tenders and framework appointments.\nEnsure compliance with RICS Red Book standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.\nKey Accountabilities\nValuation delivery and technical excellence.\nRevenue generation and business development.\nClient relationship management and retention.\nTeam leadership, coaching, mentoring and performance management.\nFinancial performance and profitability of the division.\nQuality assurance and risk management.\nRegulatory and professional compliance.\nMarket intelligence and thought leadership.\nCross-service line collaboration and referral generation.\nStrategic planning and execution.\nRecruitment, succession planning and talent development.\nLeadership of key client and lender relationships.\nAdvisory & Consultancy Services\nStrategic portfolio valuation advice.\nLoan security and lending advisory services.\nFinancial reporting valuations.\nInvestment and acquisition due diligence.\nDevelopment appraisals and viability assessments.\nAsset and portfolio performance reviews.\nMarket analysis and benchmarking studies.\nLease advisory and valuation consultancy.\nESG and sustainability-related valuation considerations.\nClient portfolio rationalisation and optimisation strategies.\nNew client onboarding and integration.\nSupport on national and international valuation mandates.\nExperience & Qualifications\nChartered/Registered Valuer (essential).\nExtensive experience within commercial property valuation, ideally at Associate Director, Director or equivalent level.\nStrong knowledge of RICS Valuation - Global Standards (Red Book).\nProven track record in business development and client relationship management.\nExperience managing and developing high-performing valuation teams.\nStrong commercial awareness and financial acumen.\nExperience working with lenders, institutional investors, developers and corporate occupiers.\nExcellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex valuation instructions and large client portfolios.\nStrong market knowledge and professional network within the real estate sector.\nCushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
