This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of distribution, warehouse, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on dock doors, dock levelers, seals, shelters, and related equipment.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.\nInspect equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with company standards.\nComplete work orders and maintenance documentation through the CMMS system.\nRespond to service calls and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.\nAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and major repairs as needed.\nMaintain tools, parts, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.\nFollow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.\nTravel between customer or company sites as required.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience servicing dock doors, dock levelers, overhead doors, or similar industrial equipment.\nWorking knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.\nAbility to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.\nBasic computer skills and experience using work order or CMMS systems.\nValid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.\nPreferred\nTrade school, vocational training, or technical certification.\nExperience with welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting industrial equipment.\nFamiliarity with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.\nExperience working in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments.\nPhysical Requirements\nLift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.\nWork at heights, climb ladders, kneel, squat, and reach overhead.\nWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nWear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and fall protection equipment when necessary.\nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
