The EHS professional ensures regulatory requirements, client EHS programs, and initiatives are integrated into account operations. The role ensures regulatory requirements (environmental), policies, and EHS initiatives are integrated into GOS account operations.Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure GOS has a well-designed process for EHS Governance and Risk Management. Serves as a lead EHS subject matter expert on: EHS management systems, technical standards, and best practices. The role will liaise with key client representatives, GOS account teams to drive governance set by the client MSA.\nJob Description\nPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES\nReports on EHS performance to the GOS Account Leadership team and Client.\nCommunicates the EHS vision and performance to internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaborates to ensure EHS requirements are implemented in accordance with the Client’s existing programs.\nPartners to ensure Zero incidents of EHS non-compliance relating to IFM Services\nOrganizes EHS processes/programs for staff.\nAdministers processes in alignment with the EHS Management System.\nImplements GOS EHS Corporate processes and systems.\nImplements EHS Software platforms.\nIdentifies risk associated with the management of Cushman & Wakefield contractors.\nParticipates in investigations of EHS nonconformances and prepares corrective action plans.\nSupports Client applicable regulatory (i.e., OSHA/EPA etc.) audits and requirements.\nAssist in development of EHS programs for the site and account\nProvides technical advice on EHS issues, notifications of changes, and governance that will impact service delivery and/or client occupancy.\nMonitor, track, and report on EHS KPI’s.\nParticipate in internal and external EHS audit activities and contribute towards continuous improvement.\n Qualifications, Competencies and Experience\nBachelor of Science in EHS discipline or relevant scientific or engineering field.\nRequires 5+ years of experience within the EHS profession.\nExperience within Operational Management systems and working with corporate clients.\nStrong clients focus and experience mindset.\nExperience in stakeholder and contractor management.\nDemonstrated leadership, influencing and collaboration skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nAbility to leverage office systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.\nThe ability to travel (approximately 10%).\nFamiliarity with job hazard analysis (JHA) and written procedure development\nStrong knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention principles.\nExperience with environmental management including hazardous/regulated waste management and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans are preferred.\nExperience within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) is desirable.\nExperience with Data Centers is preferred.\nCandidates with the ability to obtain Professional Certifications (ASP, CSP, CHMM etc.) are desirable.\nAAP/EEO STATEMENT\nC&W provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
