You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring operational excellence across maintenance, compliance, contractor management, financial performance and stakeholder engagement.As a trusted advisor to our client, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, compliant and efficient facilities while driving continuous improvement and exceptional customer outcomes.\nJob Description\nEligibility Requirements:\nMust be an Australian Citizen.\nMust hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain, a Security Clearance.\nMust be based in Melbourne or Sydney.\nWhat's in it for You?\nHigh-Profile Government Portfolio\nSupport a nationally significant WOAG account and gain exposure to a complex and diverse property portfolio.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage an assigned portfolio of client properties across the WOAG account.\nAct as the primary point of contact for reactive maintenance issues and critical incidents.\nCoordinate contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements and statutory requirements.\nConduct property inspections, audits and compliance assessments, including NABERS-related activities.\nDevelop and maintain asset lifecycle plans and asset registers.\nOversee preventative and reactive maintenance programs.\nManage operational budgets, maintenance expenditure, forecasting and financial reporting.\nApprove and reconcile invoices and ensure financial controls are maintained.\nBuild strong relationships with clients, landlords, contractors and internal stakeholders.\nEnsure service delivery meets contractual obligations and key performance indicators.\nSupport business continuity planning, crisis management and incident response activities.\nDrive innovation, process improvement and operational efficiencies.\nMaintain accurate systems, records and reporting.\nParticipate in audits and ensure compliance with all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.\nWhat You'll Bring\nEssential Experience\nMinimum 3 years' experience in Facilities Management, Property Management or a related field.\nStrong knowledge of building operations, maintenance, compliance and contractor management.\nExperience managing budgets, maintenance expenditure and financial reporting.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse property portfolio.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.\nExcellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team environment.\nStrong understanding of compliance, risk management and workplace safety requirements.\nProven track record of achieving service delivery and KPI outcomes.\nDesirable\nExperience working within government or highly regulated environments.\nKnowledge of NABERS, asset management and lifecycle planning.\nRelevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services or a related discipline.\nIf you're an experienced Facilities Manager looking for your next challenge within a high-profile government portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.\nApply now and be part of what's next.
