The successful candidate will support managers and employees on people processes, employee relations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, HR data, compliance and local HR projects, contributing to a more integrated Iberia People modelJob Description\nKey Accountabilities:\nSupport the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures and people processes across Spain and Portugal, ensuring alignment with company standards and local employment legislation.\n\nProvide Tier 2 guidance to managers and employees on HR processes, employee lifecycle matters and local practices, escalating complex or high-risk matters to People Partners, Legal, Reward or other specialist teams as appropriate.\n\nSupport workforce administration, including employee data accuracy, job changes, promotions, leavers, employment documentation, correspondence with employees and external authorities, and coordination with the HR Shared Services Center.\n\nCoordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including local HR induction, documentation, system coordination, local benefits registration and liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee experience.\n\nSupport TA, including review of job descriptions and requisitions,\n\nSupport early careers processes, including university agreements, internship administration, legal checks and coordination with Talent Acquisition and local stakeholders.\n\nAdminister and support local benefits, payroll-related processes and compensation activities, including payroll coordination, benefits queries, vendor administration, invoices\n\nSupport performance management and talent processes, including goal setting follow-up, year-end review tracking, Plans and development planning activities.\n\nSupport employee simple relations matters, including attendance, performance, , investigations, medical or long-term absence cases, maternity and other leave situations, ensuring appropriate documentation and timely resolution.\n\nCoordinate employment changes, severance calculations, settlement documentation and employee exit in collaboration with People Partners, local Legal teams and relevant stakeholders.\n\nTracking of mandatory learning, compliance monitoring, preparation of training documentation and follow-up with employees and managers.\n\nContribute to HR projects across Iberia, including talent management, employee experience, process optimisation, reporting, compliance, DEI, pay transparency, job architecture and People model implementation.\n\nRole Scope:\nThis role is designed to provide operational and specialist HR support across Iberia, with day-to-day responsibilities linked to both Portugal and Spain. The position will work closely with the People Partner Iberia, local managers, People Services, Talent Acquisition, Reward, Legal, Finance, Payroll providers and other specialist teams to ensure consistent delivery of People processes and an effective employee experience.\nQualifications:\nGood knowledge of Iberian best practices, labor laws, and regulations.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.\nGood organizational and time management skills.\nProficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite, Workday knowledge is a plus.\nFluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus\nExperience\n3 - 5 years’ experience similar tasks to those described\nExperience and knowledge of payroll will be highly valued.\nCushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
