Job Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Team member must be able to work and direct personnel in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.

2. Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to, directing personnel in repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, power transmissions, and other power driven rotating equipment.

3. Repairs and preventive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards. Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.

4. Must have working knowledge of the following topics: industrial mechanical applications / machinery, precision alignment, rigging, pipefitting, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, machinery vibration, preventive/predictive maintenance.

5. Must be able to use hand tools on a daily basis such as power tools (hand grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill press, and hydraulic pullers), and rigging equipment. Also perform welding, using a cutting torch as required.

6. Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES:

1. Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.

2. Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.

3. Communications with all team members to assist the development of short and long range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives

4. Provide mechanical expertise to customer RCA and problem solving / solutions.

5. Ensure team members perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.

6. Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment.

7. Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.

8. Accurate administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting, work order completion, job planning, ordering materials, work load assessment and up-date / review maintenance management system (CMMS).

9. Allocate resources as required, coordinate shut downs, contact vendors for plant and maintenance requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, climb flights of stairs, work from elevated areas, and wear a respirator when required by the job. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate hand tools and industrial machinery such as a truck or fork-lift. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 82,246.00 - $96,760.00
