This role provides direct supervision to janitorial staff, supports account management activities, and maintains strong client relationships. The Janitorial Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader and a key representative of C&W Services at the site level.Job Description\nThe Janitorial Supervisor reports to the Senior Operations Manager and works under the direction of the Account Manager or Account Director. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide overall direction, coordination, and supervision of janitorial personnel across assigned shifts and buildings\nSupervise daily operations to ensure services are performed as contracted and meet or exceed customer specifications\nAssist in managing project activities and overseeing assigned janitorial crews\nCoordinate staffing, work schedules, and assignments; prepare and submit weekly payroll time sheets\nEstablish and maintain work performance and quality standards\nConduct routine site inspections, quality assurance checks, and facility audits\nManage inventory, materials, and equipment usage, including key control procedures\nAddress and resolve on-site service delivery issues, employee concerns, and customer inquiries\nSupport snow removal services as required (seasonal)\nLead orientation and onboarding of new employees; provide ongoing training, coaching, and development\nParticipate in safety programs, safety committees, and required management or technical training\nOversee conference room setups and assist with internal moves or special projects as needed\nMaintain effective and professional client relationships through regular communication\nPerform employee evaluations, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as needed\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support site and account objectives\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nOne to three (1-3) years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services\nWorking knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and safety standards\nAbility to manage schedules, inventory, payroll, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and clients\nFluent in English and Spanish preferred/required\nMotivated, proactive, and solution-oriented leadership style\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for operational support\nBackground check required\nCommitment to safety, quality, and customer service\nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
