This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of conveyor systems, sortation equipment, automation controls, production equipment, and facility infrastructure.The successful candidate will oversee maintenance technicians and vendors, drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manage facility and equipment repairs, ensure regulatory compliance, support capital projects, and partner with operations leadership to maximize uptime and operational efficiency.\nJob Description\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLead, coach, and develop maintenance teams.\nOversee maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, automation equipment, PLCs, VFDs, robotics interfaces, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.\nManage HVAC, plumbing, lighting, utilities, and building systems.\nDrive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs through CMMS.\nTroubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\nCoordinate emergency repairs and minimize operational downtime.\nAnalyze maintenance KPIs and reliability metrics to drive continuous improvement.\nManage budgets, inventory, service contracts, vendors, and contractors.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, environmental, safety, and lockout/tagout requirements.\nLead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions.\nDevelop maintenance standards, SOPs, and best practices.\nSupport capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and facility improvements.\nProvide maintenance and reliability updates to operations leadership and customers as needed.\nParticipate in on-call support and emergency response activities.\nQualifications:\nQualifications Education & Experience Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related technical field preferred. \nEquivalent combination of education, military experience, technical certifications, and applicable maintenance leadership experience will be considered. \nMinimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience supporting conveyor, material handling, manufacturing, production, distribution, or automated warehouse environments. \nMinimum of 3 years of maintenance management or supervisory experience leading technical teams. \nExperience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). \nStrong understanding of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies. \n\nTechnical Requirements\nExperience troubleshooting and maintaining: Conveyor systems and sortation equipment \nMotors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and bearings \nVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs) \nPLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems \nPhoto eyes, sensors, scanners, and control devices \nElectrical distribution systems up to facility operating voltages \nPneumatic and hydraulic systems \nRobotics interfaces and automated equipment \nIndustrial controls and motor control centers \nPackaging, palletizing, or automated material handling systems \nPreventive maintenance planning and execution \n\nRequired Skills\nStrong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. \nExcellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. \nStrong customer service orientation and partnership mindset. \nEffective verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to analyze maintenance KPIs, downtime reports, and reliability metrics. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS platforms. \nStrong organizational and project management skills. \nAbility to make critical decisions during equipment failures and operational emergencies. \nWillingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call support as business needs require. \"\nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
