The Sr. Analyst will primarily perform financial analysis activities related to Excel valuation model creation, lease abstraction, due diligence collection and review, and will be responsible for translating analysis findings into high-level summaries for our Capital Markets EDSF brokers.\nThe role is based in Tinton Falls, NJ and requires availability to work on-site in a local Cushman & Wakefield office. Team members may be expected to travel and work outside normal operating hours to meet project deadlines.\nJob Description:\nEssential Duties\nPrepare debt and/or equity offering memoranda for commercial real estate transactions, including gathering client and property information, section write ups, creating tables, graphs and charts, and managing the graphic design process in conjunction with a graphic designer \nAnalyze and evaluate rent rolls and operating statements of properties being considered for financing or sale to determine feasibility and valuation \nPrepare pro forma statements and projections which accurately reflect historical cash flow performance of properties, as well as current and projected future market conditions \nPrepare financial models in Excel and Argus for clients which outline valuation and pricing structures \nPrepare discounted cash flow analyses \nResearch, analyze, and evaluate market feasibility for various real estate transactions \nPrepare debt sizings to determine possible financing options for each deal \nAssist in collecting and evaluating required due diligence for transactions: make necessary inquiries to clients to ensure that required information is provided timely \nUnderstand and review real estate documents (leases, operating statements, rent rolls, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to determine if any issues/inconsistencies exist \nConvey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, market and location issues and tenant analysis etc.) in formal written format for financing packages and/or sales offering materials presented to clients \nGenerate weekly reports and updates to senior brokers on calling program status and loan quote grids \nCollect lender/investor bids and maintain quote matrix, lender lists \nParticipate in marketing calls \nContact and respond to lender requests/questions \nAssist in conducting property tours / inspections \nOther duties as assigned \nOther Requirements & Administrative Duties\nBachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) preferred \nCombination of education without a degree and corporate work experience may be considered \n1 to 3+ years of commercial real estate financial analysis and/or finance experience preferably with a commercial real estate firm engaged in consulting, appraisal, investing, lending, or brokerage, Capital Markets experience a plus \nStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy \nAbility to construct, apply and analyze complex financial models in Excel and Argus Enterprise preferred \nStrong written communication skills developing high-level analysis summaries \nPassion for client delivery, with strong emphasis on producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and strong personal initiative to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment \nAbility to function in a team-oriented setting while working independently with limited day-to-day supervision \nStrong time management, organization, and interpersonal skills \nAbility to handle multiple projects at one time and work in a high-volume, fast past transaction-oriented environment \nTakes charge and is proactive in all aspects of role \nGrowth oriented mindset, desire to learn and shares knowledge to help others succeed \nAbility to maintain attention to detail while working under tight deadlines \nHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advance Excel skills preferred \nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
