This role focuses on ensuring security, governance, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise financial processes, including financial consolidation, close, reporting, forecasting, planning, and analysis (xP&A).\nWorking closely with Product Managers, Finance leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technology teams, the Senior Financial Systems Engineer designs, develops, and implements scalable solutions that improve automation, data quality, reporting capabilities, and financial decision-making. Serving as both a technical expert and strategic business partner, this individual translates business requirements into sustainable OneStream solutions through application configuration, business rules, integrations, and platform enhancements.\nResponsibilities\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n· Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Master Data Management, and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.\n· Drive the delivery of scalable solutions that align with strategic business objectives and enterprise finance transformation initiatives.\n· Collaborate with Product Managers and business users to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support roadmap execution.\nApplication Configuration & Governance\n· Configure and maintain OneStream metadata, business rules, workflows, dashboards, reporting objects, and application settings.\n· Ensure adherence to governance standards, development best practices, and change management processes.\n· Support platform upgrades, releases, and ongoing optimization initiatives.\nFinancial Close & Reporting Support\n· Provide system support during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles.\n· Participate in consolidation processes, workflow execution, reporting deliverables, and issue resolution to ensure timely and accurate financial results.\n· Partner with Finance teams to identify and resolve data, process, and report discrepancies.\nPlatform Ownership & Administration\n· Administer and maintain OneStream environments, including Development, Test/Pre-Production, and Production.\n· Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.\n· Coordinate deployments and migration activities across environments.\nSecurity, Controls & Compliance\n· Support management of application security, role-based access controls, segregation of duties, and user provisioning processes.\n· Perform periodic access reviews and support internal and external audit activities.\n· Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.\nTechnical Leadership & Problem Resolution\n· Serve as the point of technical escalation for complex application, data, consolidation, and integration issues.\n· Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.\n· Document system solutions, support procedures, and technical standards.\nPlanning, Forecasting & Analytics (xP&A)\n· Support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, planning, and analytical capabilities within OneStream.\n· Develop solutions that improve planning accuracy, reporting efficiency, and management insights.\n· Partner with business stakeholders to expand adoption of xP&A capabilities across the organization.\n\n Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial systems, performance management platforms, or financial close and consolidation applications.\nStrong understanding of financial consolidation, close, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.\nExperience configuring and supporting OneStream or comparable Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with OneStream, Oracle Hyperion, or other EPM solutions.\nExperience with application integrations, data management, workflow design, and data quality controls.\nKnowledge of financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.\nExperience with system performance tuning and optimization.\nDevelopment experience using C#, .NET, or related technologies.\nExperience supporting SaaS-based enterprise applications and cloud environments.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to
