The role ensures that all MEP installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, project schedules, and quality standards.Job Description\nAbout the Role:\n1. Site Execution and Supervision\nSupervise and monitor day-to-day MEP installation activities at the project site.\nEnsure that MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.\nCoordinate with MEP contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other site teams.\nMonitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for MEP works.\nEnsure proper sequencing of MEP activities in coordination with civil, structural, and architectural works.\nIdentify site constraints and resolve technical issues in coordination with the project team.\n2. Mechanical Works\nSupervise installation of HVAC systems, ventilation systems, chilled water piping, ducting, pumps, and related equipment.\nMonitor installation of mechanical equipment and ensure proper alignment, supports, and access for maintenance.\nCoordinate testing, commissioning, and balancing of HVAC and mechanical systems.\n3. Electrical Works\nSupervise electrical installations including cable trays, conduits, cables, panels, DBs, lighting, power distribution, and earthing systems.\nMonitor installation of electrical equipment and ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and specifications.\nCoordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems.\nEnsure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and testing.\n4. Plumbing and Fire Fighting Works\nSupervise installation of water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and other plumbing systems.\nMonitor installation of fire-fighting piping, hydrants, sprinkler systems, pumps, and related equipment.\nEnsure proper pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of plumbing and fire-fighting systems.\n5. Drawings and Technical Coordination\nReview approved MEP drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and specifications.\nEnsure site execution is in accordance with the latest approved drawings.\nCoordinate MEP services with structural and architectural requirements.\nIdentify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and raise RFIs/technical queries as required.\nAssist in reviewing and resolving MEP clashes and coordination issues.\n6. Quality Control\nEnsure all MEP works comply with approved specifications, applicable standards, and project quality requirements.\nConduct inspections and coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspection requests.\nVerify materials and equipment delivered to site against approved material submittals.\nMonitor installation quality and ensure rectification of defective or non-conforming work.\nMaintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.\n7. Testing and Commissioning\nCoordinate testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems.\nWitness testing procedures and verify test results.\nEnsure all systems are properly tested, commissioned, and handed over.\nAssist in preparation of commissioning records, operation manuals, and as-built documentation.\n8. Planning and Progress Monitoring\nMonitor daily and weekly progress of MEP works against the approved project schedule.\nCoordinate with planning and project teams to identify delays and recovery measures.\nPrepare daily progress reports and provide updates on site activities.\nSupport manpower and material planning to achieve project milestones.\n9. Safety\nEnsure MEP activities are carried out in compliance with project HSE requirements.\nCoordinate with the Safety Officer/HSE team to identify and control site risks.\nEnsure safe working practices for electrical, mechanical, hot work, lifting, and working-at-height activities.\nReport unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.\n10.
