The Sr. Occupancy Planning Lead oversees a team of professionals responsible for translating business requirements into effective solutions aligned with the client workplace model and real estate strategy in the areas of space, occupancy planning, design, moves, FF&E and data management. This position is responsible for all space across the client's portfolio.Job Description\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nDefine immediate and long-term client goals concerning the management and oversight of occupancy and utilization analysis, support of strategy solutions, recommendations for executable planning solutions and accurate real estate allocation reporting.\nMaintain a strong partnership with the client organization.\nBuild foundational strategic vision to drive strategy and commit to metrics that achieve the goals of the organization.\nHave working knowledge and/or experience in implementation or execution of a strategic plan related to the client's overall real estate strategy.\nLead Occupancy Planners to create scenarios and long-term strategic planning related to space.\nMonitor workplace trends and refresh client strategies to enable future ways of working.\nShow strong verbal presentation skills and ability to communicate to the executive level.\nDevelop a robust SPO delivery organization that can adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nEnsure all SPO deliverables are met, including SLA and KPI requirements.\nDirect the overall planning and development of new spatial activities and the activities of current projects and programs.\nWork closely with peers on the account leadership team, other service lines and client representatives regarding proper staffing, future projects and maintaining proper client relationships.\nEnsure compliance with core program standards, including all C&W tools, processes, templates and outputs standardized and customized to the client.\nDemonstrate proactive solutioning through root-cause analysis, solution development, evaluation of options and alternatives and recommendation of the best course of action for projects, processes and overall program operations.\nCollaborate with Facilities, PjM and client RE leadership for alignment and day-to-day operations. Recommend adjustments to processes when misalignment is identified.\nMake recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Direct the development of program tools and deliverables that accomplish recommended solutions.\nOversee the creation and maintenance of playbooks, templates and tools.\nCoach the team in providing effective space-planning solutions and move-management delivery for all project types, including expansions, relocations, consolidations and refreshes, as well as client relationship management, vendor relationship management, talent management and resource utilization.\nDirect the development of planning proposals, site assessments for space efficiencies, utilization metrics and supply-and-demand studies.\nDirect the delivery of project activities, including relocations, restacks, renovations and consolidations.\nEstablish goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and supervised sub-units.\nDevelop, present and maintain headcount budgets, forecasting and gearing ratios.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study, such as Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project Management or Construction Management.\nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
