The role supports the development of asset lifecycle strategies, forward maintenance plans and capital investment recommendations to maximise asset reliability and long-term value.\nThe Workplace Manager is accountable for ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed KPIs and service levels, while maintaining an exceptional workplace experience for colleagues, clients and visitors. Strong operational leadership, stakeholder management and supplier governance are essential to drive continuous improvement and ensure workplace services remain aligned with business objectives, workplace standards and the Sage Places strategy of Quiet Excellence.\nJob Description\nCore Responsibilities\n1. Leadership & Workplace Experience\nLead, inspire and develop a high-performing Workplace team, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.\nAct as the visible workplace leader and primary point of contact for workplace services within the location.\nEnsure a seamless, hospitality-led workplace experience for colleagues, visitors and clients.\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders and support the delivery of workplace experience initiatives and improvements.\n2. Operational & Supplier Management\nOversee the day-to-day delivery of integrated workplace services across the site.\nManage and support Front of House, Mailroom and Fabric Maintenance resources.\nLead supplier relationships across Security, Cleaning, Hospitality, M&E and Building Maintenance services.\nOversee planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalation of risks where required.\nManage minor works and workplace projects, ensuring safe and effective delivery.\nProvide operational and technical oversight of M&E and building maintenance service delivery, ensuring statutory compliance, planned preventative maintenance, reactive works and asset management activities are effectively delivered.\nManage and challenge service partners to deliver safe, compliant and reliable services, holding them accountable against contractual KPIs, SLAs and performance standards while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nWork closely with specialist engineering partners to review asset performance, maintenance regimes, lifecycle risks and forward maintenance plans, supporting informed investment and replacement decisions.\n3. Commercial, Risk & Compliance\nManage operational budgets, identifying opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.\nEnsure compliance with health & safety, statutory and contractual requirements.\nMaintain effective risk management processes and business continuity arrangements.\nSupport sustainability initiatives and workplace governance requirements.\n4. Key Skills & Experience (Essential)\nMinimum 5 years' Facilities Management experience across both Hard and Soft FM disciplines, including the ability to provide informed oversight of M&E service delivery, asset lifecycle management, forward maintenance planning and specialist supplier performance.\nMinimum 3 years' experience in a leadership, supervisory or management role with responsibility for people, operational performance and service delivery.\nExperience managing outsourced service providers and supplier performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs.\nStrong understanding of workplace operations, health & safety, compliance and risk management.\nExperience managing maintenance activities, facilities projects and workplace improvements.\nExperience managing operational budgets, risks and supplier performance.\nStrong understanding of hospitality-led workplace services and customer experience delivery.\nProven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.\n5. Key Skills & Experience (Desirable)\nIWFM qualification or equivalent Facilities Management qualification.\nExperience managing contracted hospitality services within a corporate workplace environment.\nExperience managing Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts within a multi-site or global corporate environment.\nExperience using CAFM systems, supplier governance and service performance reporting tools.\nCushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
