This is a diverse, site-based role responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs, contractor coordination, and facilities support, helping to ensure a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for students, staff, and visitors.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform general grounds and gardens maintenance duties including general gardening duties including sweeping/blowing debris from pathways and synthetic turf etc.\nComplete broad maintenance tasks as required (handyman duties) e.g., adjusting doors, changing light globes, emptying recycled paper bins around the school to the skip etc.\nCollect mail for the school from local Post Office\nUsing hand and power tools safely and effectively \nIdentifying and reporting hazards, defects and safety risks \nManaging maintenance requests through internal systems \nCoordinating contractors and monitoring their activities on site \nAssisting with grounds and outdoor maintenance as required \nCompleting administrative duties, reports and work order updates \nWorking collaboratively with school leadership, teachers, administration staff and contractors \nParticipating in a rotating on-call roster as required \nAbout you\nYou would have an interest in a mixture of outdoor grounds work and indoor handyman work.\nDemonstrated experience working at critical sites/grounds.\nA common-sense approach and initiative\nStandard experience with Word, Excel and Outlook\nStrong decision-making skills and the ability to think in an autonomous fashion when needed.\nSelf-motivated to enhance the school and business with a great attention to detail.\nQuality and continuous improvement focus.\nVictorian Driver’s license and technical qualifications in either mechanical or electrical fields.\nWorking with Children’s Check and Police check - Mandatory\nWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?\nWe have a vision of the future, where people simply belong.\nThat's why we support and celebrate inclusive causes, not just on days of recognition throughout the year, but every day.
