In collaboration with the technical team, the RMEO helps ensure system uptime through proactive maintenance, monitoring, and strong technical problem-solving skills.\nThe primary focus of this role is to learn and carry out basic maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment throughout the site. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, clearing jams, replacing parts in accordance with maintenance manuals, and performing testing, all while adhering to safety regulations and policies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nYou will be following safe work practices while performing preventive maintenance checks on a variety of equipment\nYou will replace spare parts on equipment following standard operation procedures (site dependent)\nYou will use a laptop/tablet for managing work orders\nYou will use basic workshop tools\nBasic Qualifications:\nOne year of experience as a Blue Badge Amazon Employee\nWork a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays\nKnowledge of basic mathematics\n1+ years of technical problem-solving experience\nExperience with mechanical systems\nExperience with electrical systems\nPreferred qualifications:\nTechnical education in related field\nAssociate degree in Mechatronics, or High School CTE in Mechatronics\nExperience working on an Amazon Robotics Floor \nExperience working as an Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitor\nPhysical Demands:\nMust have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.\nAbility to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.\nRegularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment.\nInvolves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day.\nWork in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.\nRegularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.\nCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
