We employ Great Dough Heroes and are looking for another person to join our squad! We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to prepare, organize, and load finished frozen products for shipment while maintaining product quality, food safety, and inventory accuracy. This position is responsible for organizing freezer inventory, building pallets, inspecting trailers, loading shipments, and ensuring products remain at proper temperatures throughout the shipping process. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nDuties and Key Responsibilities:\nBuild and stage pallets according to shipping orders and product specifications.\nStore finished goods in the freezer using FIFO inventory practices.\nMaintain an organized freezer to maximize efficiency and inventory accuracy.\nSegregate and clearly identify on-hold product.\nSafely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.\nPrepare orders by verifying product codes, quantities, and lot numbers.\nInspect trailers before loading to ensure cleanliness and proper operating condition.\nVerify reefer temperature settings, fuel levels, and trailer readiness.\nRecord trailer temperatures, time in/time out, and shipping documentation.\nLoad trucks safely while ensuring proper weight distribution and load security.\nCommunicate professionally with drivers and verify bills of lading and shipping paperwork.\nMaintain required product temperatures throughout loading.\nReport inventory discrepancies, temperature deviations, or equipment concerns immediately.\nKeep freezer and dock areas clean, organized, and safe.\nFollow all GMPs, food safety, food defense, and workplace safety procedures.\nAssist other departments as needed to support production, sanitation, and shipping operations.\nSchedule:\n1st shift (Approx. 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday)\nRequirements:\nPrevious warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience required.\nForklift certification or ability to obtain certification.\nAbility to work in freezer and refrigerated environments.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.\nTeam-oriented
