Under minimal direction, this outside sales role is responsible for the sale of commercial and industrial Hydronics equipment and systems to contractors (mechanical and plumbing), engineers, architects, owners, and consultants. You will build and manage long-term relationships with your customers and our manufacturer partners.\nLocation: \n Portland, OR\n\nCompensation:\n100% commission position/eligible for draw.\nThis position is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement options.\nCore Responsibilities:\nDemonstrates technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.\nDetermines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet the customer’s Hydronics system design and installation requirements.\nEffectively writes, presents, and communicates bids, negotiates value, and closes sales.\nPositively and credibly influence system design and solutions with customers. Creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis.\nManages multiple, ongoing, projects particularly focusing on selling HVAC equipment, service and systems.\nBuilds partnering relationships with customers and manufacturers. Understand the customer's business and speaks their language.\nUnderstands, promotes and sells full breadth of CMS’s hydronics line card. Stays informed on manufacturer product updates, pricing, and availability.\nMaintains understanding of local and national building codes and energy codes. Consults with clients to properly apply CMS equipment.\nAddresses customer's operational objectives, design objectives, project needs and requirements and sell solutions.\nSolicits support from and communicates effectively with the entire CMS team, including service, parts, sales and inside sales support staff.\nAssist in the development of the sales team, including recruiting and mentorship of other sales team members.\nKeeps management informed of progress and account status.
