Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift.\nJob Summary: Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this position contributes to centralized IT operations supporting multiple New Wave Group companies and locations throughout North America. Travel to other company locations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe is required and must possess a valid passport.\nProvide administration and operational support for enterprise IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows and Linux servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, patch management, backup and recovery solutions, endpoint management, and security technologies. Monitor system health, perform maintenance and upgrades, support disaster recovery initiatives, and ensure high availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAdminister and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory environments, including user and group management, Exchange, security policies, multifactor authentication (MFA), Group Policy, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, and related identity and collaboration services.\nAdminister Windows and Linux server environments, including physical, virtual (VMware), and cloud-hosted infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and cloud platforms.\nCollaborate with the Operations team to perform basic network administration, troubleshooting, and support activities.\nExecute and maintain patch management processes for servers, appliances, and endpoint devices, including testing, deployment, validation, and compliance reporting.\nSupport backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions, including recovery testing, documentation, and automation efforts to ensure business continuity.\nEnsure endpoint protection and security platforms remain compliant and aligned with organizational standards.\nServe as an escalation resource for complex technical issues by resolving advanced support requests and coordinating with other IT teams when necessary.\nInstall, configure, maintain, lifecycle, and upgrade third-party server applications, infrastructure platforms, and management tools.\nProactively monitor the health, performance, and availability of server, network, and cloud infrastructure using enterprise monitoring and management platforms. Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and remediation where appropriate.\nContribute to technical documentation, including system configurations, deployment procedures, installation guides, and operational processes.\nWork independently while managing priorities and delivering results with minimal supervision.\nParticipate in after-hours maintenance activities, infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and on-call support rotations as required.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nMindset and orientation:\nMaintaining a customer-first position while providing in-depth support and administration.\nAbility to organize, prioritize, multitask, and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment.\nEmbrace challenges, learn from feedback, and continuously improve.\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum of 5 years IT experience as a System Administrator.\nA college degree or an equivalent combination of education, certificates, or work experience required.\nStrong administration skills with M365/Azure and Network Administration.\nComfortable in both Windows and Linux with exposure to scripting languages. e.g. PowerShell\nExperience with Meraki, Vmware environments, Ansible, is a plus.\nWork Environment & Requirements\nFast-paced environment supporting multiple companies and technologies\nHybrid schedule: 1 remote day per week after 90 days, subject to business needs\nTravel required to support locations across the United States and Canada.
