As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for our guests' entire dining experience. You will be responsible for managing the flow of the dining room, welcoming guests with a warm smile, and ensuring excellent service from the moment they walk through our doors.\nRequirements\nDuties & Responsibilities\nGreet guests with a warm, friendly welcome upon arrival.\nManage seating using the floor chart to ensure fair table distribution for servers.\nEscort guests to tables, present menus, and introduce their server.\nHandle reservations and phone inquiries professionally using the RESY system.\nMaintain the waitlist accurately and estimate wait times clearly for guests.\nKeep the host station clean, organized, and stocked with menus.\nCommunicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth operations.\nAddress guest complaints with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary.\nRequirements\nSkills & Qualifications\nExperience: Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment required. Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus.\nTechnology: Familiarity with RESY reservation software is required. Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and seating management is required.\nCommunication: Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.\nMultitasking: Ability to stay calm, organized, and prioritize tasks under pressure.\nTeamwork: A collaborative mindset and willingness to assist food service staff when needed.\nPhysical Requirements & Availability\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).\nFlexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
