The Digital Development Engineer will establish and mature SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, and alerting for applications The right candidate will participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, stabilization, root-cause analysis, and MTTR improvement\nWhat you will do\nDevelop automation to reduce manual operational work and improve reliability\nCreate and maintain operational standards, procedures, and runbooks\nAnalyze major releases and production changes for potential availability and reliability risks\nIdentify application dependencies and potential failure points across distributed systems\nDevelop and implement resiliency and testing strategies for applications and infrastructure\nPartner with application, platform, infrastructure, and business teams to drive reliability improvements\nContribute to CI/CD and automation workflows that enable reliable software delivery \nHelp drive SRE principles and reliability practices across engineering teams\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years experience in software engineering & backend development\nExperience with Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js/TypeScript\nExperience with AWS and cloud-native technologies\nExperience with Kubernetes / containerized environments\nExperience with REST APIs and microservices\nCI/CD and deployment automation\nNew Relic or similar observability/APM technology\nSplunk / centralized logging\nDistributed-system troubleshooting\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills\nAutomation/scripting\nMessaging/queue technologies such as Kafka\nProduction incident management and RCA\nMonitoring, alerting, SLIs and SLOs\n Education\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)\nAnticipated Weekly Hours\n40Time Type\nFull timePay Range\nThe typical pay range for this role is:\n$83,430.00 - $166,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
