In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflow, and driving team performance, this role ensures operational targets are met while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting operational strategy, developing talent, and enhancing efficiency across the distribution center.\n** Availability to work 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:30 PM-1:00 AM with flexibility and /or weekends. Hours subject to change based on business needs.***\nPrimary Responsibilities \nAssists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.\nExecutes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.\nManages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.\nConducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.\nAnalyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.\nCoordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.\nDefines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.\nManages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 2 years of work experience in in a Warehouse or Distribution Center\nMinimum 2 years of work experience in a leadership role and managing a team\nExperience with continuous improvement methodology \nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of business intelligence\nWorking knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills\nAdept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills\nExperience in Lean and Kaizen\nWorking knowledge of collaboration and teamwork Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills\nAssociate degree preferred.\nEducation\nVerifiable High School diploma or GED\nAnticipated Weekly Hours\n40Time Type\nFull timePay Range\nThe typical pay range for this role is:\n$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
