This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can work across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to transform ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of AI expertise, cloud architecture experience, healthcare industry knowledge, and business acumen. They must be passionate about emerging technologies, market trends, and innovation while maintaining a pragmatic focus on delivering achievable business outcomes.\nThis individual will play a critical role in guiding product strategy, defining solution architecture, oversee implementation, and ensuring successful deployment of AI-enabled products and platforms.\nAccountabilities include:\nIdentify, Define, and execute end-to-end AI enabled strategic solutions aligned with project objectives.\nLead and supervise architectural initiatives within assigned projects or areas.\nDevelop architectural designs and solutions, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices\nMentor and guide junior and senior architects in project-related tasks and skill development.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective architectural solutions.\nCollaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, data engineers, IT teams, and management, to understand needs and drive alignment with business and development teams.\nTechnology Evaluation and Implementation: Assess new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance application processes and recommend their adoption where applicable.\nArchitecture and design reviews: Play a key leadership role in architecture design reviews and identify gaps and recommend design changes. Actively lead and participate in the\nArchitecture community to drive modernization opportunities for Healthcare Business Unit while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscape.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years in software engineering and architecture roles (technical lead, solution architect, enterprise architect)\nStrong experience in understanding non-functional requirements (SLA, response time, real time, near real time, multi-threading) and ability to create designs that meet the non-functional requirements.\n5+ years of full stack development experience\n5+ years of SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Redis and any relevant database experience\n5+ years in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), microservices, and API design.\n3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies.\nExperience with DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Git) and Kafka.\nexperience in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks (Angular/JavaScript).\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.\nStrong understanding of healthcare workflows and business processes.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPreferred experience in interoperability FHIR HL7 standards\nExperience/certification in one or more cloud platforms (Salesforce, GCP, Azure & AWS) is preferred.\nExperience in large scale migration efforts from legacy technology/Asset to a modern/new Asset is preferred\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience required\nPay Range\nThe typical pay range for this role is:\n$106,605.00 - $260,590.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
