This role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, cloud-native solutions that enable intelligent workflow automation, AI-driven decisioning, document processing, and business process optimization.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong software engineering and cloud architecture expertise, coupled with practical experience implementing Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions in production environments. This individual will collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Business teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable applications while driving innovation through AI-powered solutions.\nKey areas of focus include:\nApplication architecture, development, and production support\nCloud-native engineering and platform modernization\nMicroservices and distributed systems\nAI/GenAI, Agentic AI, and LLM-based solutions\nEvent-driven and streaming architectures\nEngineering best practices, mentoring, and technical leadership\n Required Qualifications\n5+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications.\n2+ years of experience serving as a Technical Lead, Sr Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role.\nStrong expertise in Python application development and modern API frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar technologies.\nExperience designing and implementing microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.\nStrong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native application development.\nHands-on experience with:Kubernetes (GKE)\nDocker/Containerization\nCI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices\nGitHub and modern source control practices\n\nExperience developing and supporting event-driven and streaming solutions using technologies such as Kafka or similar messaging platforms.\nExperience working with cloud-native data technologies including BigQuery, BigTable, SQL, and large-scale data processing solutions.\nStrong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system reliability, performance optimization, and observability.\nHands-on experience implementing and operationalizing:Generative AI solutions\nLarge Language Models (LLMs)\nRetrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)\nAI Agents and Agentic AI workflows\nPrompt engineering and model evaluation frameworks\n\nExperience integrating enterprise applications with AI platforms such as Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude, or similar technologies.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and production support skills.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.\n Preferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), utilization management, or prior authorization operations.\nExperience building AI-powered workflow automation and decision-support systems.\nExperience deploying and managing AI applications within regulated environments.\nFamiliarity with MLOps, AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.\nExperience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives.\nExperience leading architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering best practices across teams.\nExposure to document intelligence, OCR, intelligent automation, and business process automation platforms.\nExperience with healthcare data standards, secure data processing, and compliance requirements.\n Education\nMaster's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nRelevant industry certifications in Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, AI/ML, or Software Architecture (e.g., Google Cloud Professional certifications, Kubernetes certifications, AI/ML certifications).\nAnticipated Weekly Hours\n40Time Type\nFull timePay Range\nThe typical pay range for this role is:\n$92,700.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
