Join us and be part of something bigger - helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.\nPosition Summary:\nCVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team and contribute to architecture, application modernization, cloud adoption, AI integration, and enterprise solution delivery across business-critical platforms.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArchitect, design, develop, and support enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Web APIs, and Microservices\nLead modernization initiatives involving IBM i (AS400/RPG/RPGLE/DB2) systems and integration with modern technology platforms\nDesign and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, stored procedures, indexing, and ETL processes\nImplement AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, AI Agents, and Machine Learning services\nDevelop and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure\nDefine architecture standards, security best practices, and development frameworks\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions\nLead development teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers\nDrive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, and application lifecycle management\nRequired Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies (C#, or .Net framework\n3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP)\n1+ year of Agentic AI tool experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with ASP.NET MVC/Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ or Visual Studio\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning or DB2\nExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD Pipelines\nExperience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or AI Governance and Security\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)\nAnticipated Weekly Hours\n40Time Type\nFull timePay Range\nThe typical pay range for this role is:\n$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
