We want you to apply!\nWe are looking for Java and Python developers to design and build scalable, cloud-native platforms for OTC and listed derivatives. You will work on trade capture, valuation, lifecycle events, risk, and post-trade processing across Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), Credit Derivatives (CRD), FX Derivatives (FXD), and related asset classes. You will work closely with product, quants, and operations to turn complex financial workflows into reliable, well-designed software.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance services for derivative trade lifecycle management, valuation, pricing, risk, collateral, and reporting.\nOwn the technical design of new modules and features, including architecture, data models, APIs, and integration patterns.\nBuild cloud-native microservices and data pipelines using containers and managed services.\nModel and process derivative products (swaps, swaptions, caps/floors, CDS, FX forwards/options/NDFs) and their lifecycle events (resets, fixings, amendments, novations, terminations, compressions).\nWrite clean, testable, well-documented code, and take part in code and design reviews.\nImprove the performance, resilience, and observability of production systems, and help resolve complex production issues.\nMentor junior engineers and help raise engineering standards (senior profiles).\nRequired Qualifications\n6-12 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in derivative asset classes (IRD, CRD, FXD, or equivalent).\nStrong hands-on skills in Java (8/11/17+) and/or Python 3.x. Working knowledge of both is a plus.\nHands-on cloud development experience on AWS including containers (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.\nExcellent design skills: OOP, SOLID, design patterns, domain-driven design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and REST/gRPC API design.\nWorking knowledge of derivative concepts: pricing and valuation basics,curves, trade lifecycle, and clearing/margining.\nProficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).\nStrong unit, integration, and automated testing practices.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work with business stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and FastAPI.\nExperience with distributed computing and low-latency design\nExposure to observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and Agile/DevOps practices.\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
