This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies including RF systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and power systems to detect, track, and neutralize unmanned aerial threats.\nKey success factors for this role include:\nProblem-solving and analytical thinking\nHands-on prototyping and testing\nCross-disciplinary collaboration\nStrong documentation and communication skills\nAbility to work in fast-paced, mission-driven environments\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systems\nWork on RF systems including signal detection, jamming, and communication modules\nDevelop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systems\nIntegrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platforms\nCollaborate with software, firmware, and systems engineers for full system integration\nConduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environments\nOptimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platforms\nSupport EMI/EMC compliance and environmental testing (MIL-STD preferred)\nAnalyze system performance and improve reliability and efficiency\nParticipate in field deployments and system demonstrations\nAbility to work extended hours and/or some weekends for mission critical deadlines\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\n3+ years of experience in electronics design and development (defense or aerospace preferred)\nStrong experience with:Analog and digital circuit design\nPCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or similar)\nEmbedded systems and microcontrollers\nFamiliarity with RF systems, antennas, and signal processing\nExperience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)\nExperience with DSP systems\nUnderstanding of power systems and battery management\nAbility to debug complex electrical systems\nExisting US Security clearance or ability to obtain one\n\nITAR Regulations\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
