initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate will act as a technical authority across cloud (AWS), networking, telephony\n(VOIP/GSM), monitoring, and incident management domains, while championing Infrastructure as\nCode (IaC), AI-driven operations, and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership & Strategy\n Act as the primary technical authority for NOC operations and infrastructure engineering.\n Define architecture standards, operational best practices, and automation strategies.\n Drive adoption of SRE principles, including reliability engineering, error budgets, and\ncapacity planning.\n Lead technical decision-making and design reviews across infrastructure and operations.\nInfrastructure & Automation\n Architect, design, and implement infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).\n Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.\n Develop reusable modules, pipelines, and frameworks for scalable infrastructure\ndeployment.\n Promote CI/CD practices for infrastructure and operational workflows\nCloud & Platform Engineering\nOwn and optimize AWS cloud environments (compute, networking, storage, security).\n Ensure cost efficiency, high availability, and scalability of cloud resources.\n Drive cloud governance, security best practices, and compliance adherence.\nNetworking & Telephony Systems\nOversee design and operations of networking infrastructure (routing, switching, VPNs,\nfirewalls).\n Lead management of VOIP systems, SIP trunks, PSTN, and GSM gateways.\n Troubleshoot complex telecommunication and network issues across distributed systems\nMonitoring, Incident & Reliability Management\n Define and implement monitoring and observability strategy (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog,\netc.).\n Lead major incident response (P1/P2), acting as Incident Commander when required.\n Drive proactive issue detection, alert tuning, and noise reduction.\n Ensure high-quality Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and track corrective/preventive actions.\nChange Management & Operational Governance\n Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.\n Review and approve high-risk changes and deployments.\n Continuously improve operational playbooks and SOPs.\nAI & Continuous Improvement\n Identify and implement AI/ML-driven solutions for predictive monitoring and automation.\n Drive innovation initiatives to improve operational maturity and reduce MTTR.\n Evaluate new tools and technologies for operational enhancement.\nReporting & Stakeholder Communication\n Provide leadership-level reporting on system health, incidents, SLAs, and KPIs.\n Build dashboards and insights using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering and Support.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nTechnical Expertise\n Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, and infrastructure automation.\n Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, etc.).\n Expertise in VOIP, SIP, PSTN, and GSM gateway systems.\n Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.).\n Working knowledge of AI/ML use cases in operations (AIOps).\n Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).\n Working knowledge of MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and related database\ntechnologies, including monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, upgrades,\npatching, and failover activities.\n Experience supporting highly available database environments, including backup/recovery\nvalidation, replication monitoring, upgrade coordination, failover testing, and incident\nmanagement in collaboration with DBA teams.\nProcess & Leadership\nStrong expertise in ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).\n Proven experience in leading technical teams and handling escalations.\n Ability to design and enforce operational standards and governance.\nSoft Skills\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.\n Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n Ability to lead under pressure during critical incidents.\nExperience\n6-10 years in NOC, SRE, or infrastructure roles.\n Minimum 2-3 years in a technical lead / senior leadership role.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator\n HashiCorp Terraform Associate\n ITIL Foundation Certification\n Networking certifications (CCNA or equivalent)\n VOIP/SIP certifications\n Experience with Python/Bash scripting\n Exposure to AIOps or predictive analytics
