This role is responsible for endpoint security administration, cybersecurity monitoring, incident response support, vulnerability management, and end-user technical support.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with hands-on cybersecurity knowledge and a commitment to maintaining a secure and productive computing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCybersecurity Administration\nMonitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts and incidents.\nSupport security tools including: Microsoft Defender\nMicrosoft Defender for Cloud\nMicrosoft Sentinel\nEndpoint protection platforms\n\nConduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.\nAssist with security investigations, threat analysis, and incident response efforts.\nMonitor endpoint security compliance and configuration standards.\nSupport security awareness initiatives and end-user training.\nAssist with audit preparation and compliance activities.\nMaintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.\nSupport identity security initiatives including MFA enforcement and access reviews.\nParticipate in risk assessments and security improvement projects.\nHelp Desk Administration\nServe as a primary point of contact for employee technical support requests.\nTroubleshoot and resolve incidents involving: Windows operating systems\nMicrosoft Office applications\nMicrosoft Teams\nEmail and collaboration tools\nDesktop and laptop hardware\nMobile devices\nPrinters and peripherals\n\nManage and resolve tickets through the IT service management platform.\nInstall, configure, image, and maintain employee computing devices.\nSupport employee onboarding and offboarding processes.\nEscalate complex infrastructure and application issues when necessary.\nMaintain accurate support documentation and knowledge base articles.\nEndpoint & Device Management\nSupport Microsoft Intune and endpoint management processes.\nDeploy and maintain security configurations for desktops and laptops.\nMonitor patch compliance and system updates.\nAssist with hardware lifecycle management and asset tracking.\nEnsure devices comply with organizational security standards.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExperience providing help desk or desktop support.\nKnowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity concepts including: Vulnerability management\nEndpoint protection\nIdentity security\nIncident response\nAccess controls\n\nKnowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.\nStrong troubleshooting and customer service skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with Microsoft Defender security products.\nExperience with Microsoft Intune.\nFamiliarity with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel.\nKnowledge of threat detection and security operations processes.\nExperience supporting remote and hybrid workforces.\nEducation & Certifications\nRequired:\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n Preferred:CompTIA
