This is an entry-level role designed for individuals eager to break into cybersecurity, with a strong interest in detecting and responding to cyber threats. You will be the first line of defense for our clients, monitoring security alerts, analysing potential threats, containing risks, and escalating incidents as needed.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nActively monitor and manage security event queues, identifying and investigating potential threats and incidents.\n\nServe as the first point of contact for incoming calls and communications.\n\nConduct initial analysis and investigation of security alerts, gathering relevant information for escalation to higher-level analysts.\n\nProvide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service.\n\nDocument incidents and actions taken in a clear and comprehensive manner\n\nCollaborate with other team members to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.\n\nStay informed about current cybersecurity and network threats, and emerging technologies.\n\nParticipate in regular training and development sessions to enhance technical and professional skills.\n\nEmployees are expected to demonstrate a security-first mindset and ensure that information security considerations are incorporated into their day-to-day activities, decision-making, and interactions with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nAbility to quickly assess and prioritize incidents and tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\nFamiliarity with SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring tools is advantageous.\n\nGood communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.\n\nBasic understanding of ITIL practices is beneficial.\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g.,SC200, CompTIA Security+, CCNA) are desirable but not mandatory.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nPrior experience in a customer
