state, interruptions, latency, configuration, versioning, and testing.\n\nDurable Workflows: Design event-driven pipelines using queues, webhooks, retries, and idempotent processing.\n\nLLM Pipelines: Build multi-step analysis pipelines using frontier and open-source models, balancing quality, latency, and cost.\n\nEvals & Observability: Build tracing, evaluations, and quality gates for agents, prompts, and models.\n\nArchitecture & Data: Own technical decisions and design secure multi-tenant systems using PostgreSQL.\n\nEngineering: Review code, write design notes, improve architecture, and help other engineers grow.\nWhat we're looking for\n\nProduction experience building and operating AI agents with real users.\n\nExperience with voice agent platforms or open-source agent frameworks.\n\nStrong understanding of latency, interruptions, state, and production failure modes.\n\nProduction experience with durable workflows and event-driven systems.\n\nHands-on experience with retries, queues, webhooks, and idempotency.\n\nExperience shipping LLM-powered features with frontier or open-source models.\n\nExperience with LLM observability, tracing, and evals.\n\nStrong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design and migrations.\n\nStrong TypeScript and comfortable with Python.\n\nStrong written English and solid technical communication.\n\nNice to have\n\nSpeech/transcript pipelines at scale.\n\nSpeaker diarization and long-form audio processing.\n\nOpen-source voice agent frameworks.\n\nSIP, telephony, phone carriers, or WebRTC.\n\nBuilding eval sets that gate prompt/model changes.\n\nNext.js and Supabase.\n\nOpen-source contributions to AI, voice, or LLM tooling.\n\nHow we work\n\nAI-assisted coding is expected — we care about your ability to verify and judge AI-generated code.\n\nWritten-first: design notes, clear PRs, and async communication.\n\nPR + CI for every change.\n\nStaging before production.\n\nRegular code reviews
