You’ll lead, scale, and develop a team of analysts who investigate insider-threat signals and endpoint forensics, analyze data-security incidents, surface risk across customer environments, and deliver incident-response documentation and project work. You’ll set the standard for how our customers operationalize Cyberhaven’s Data Detection & Response platform to reduce data loss. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with deep data protection expertise and a client-first mindset, who can build a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and partner closely with customer security and operations teams. This role reports to the Director of Professional Services.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead, coach, and develop a team of Data Protection Analysts in the Americas, setting clear goals, giving regular feedback, and building career paths\n\nRecruit, hire, and onboard analysts, and build the team structure, processes, and capacity plans needed to scale with customer growth\n\nOwn the quality, consistency, and timeliness of the team’s work across customer engagements, including incident analysis, policy and dataset tuning, forensic investigations, and executive reporting\n\nEstablish and maintain playbooks, templates, and best practices for incident investigation, noise and false-positive reduction, and incident-response workflows\n\nDefine and track team KPIs (such as response times, customer satisfaction, and risk-reduction outcomes) and report on them to leadership\n\nServe as an escalation point for complex investigations and a trusted advisor to customer security leaders (CISOs, SOC managers, and insider risk teams)\n\nPartner with clients to develop incident response workflows that map to their security objectives and policies, and guide the team as customers’ data risk strategies mature\n\nPresent formal summaries, trend analyses, and realized-value readouts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives\n\nStay current on external DLP, Insider Risk, and CASB market trends, and use those insights to shape team strategy and demonstrate customer value\n\nCollaborate with Cyberhaven’s Product and Development teams to relay customer and analyst feedback, drive requirements, and develop innovative strategies for monitoring and preventing data loss\n\nWork with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent customer experiences\n\nWork with Service leaders in other regions to align methodologies, share learnings, and operate as one global team\n\nWho You Are\n7+ years of experience working with data protection products, including 2+ years leading or managing technical teams (security analysts, consultants, or managed services)\n\nProven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing technical talent, and of scaling a team through growth\n\nDeep expertise in DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions, with familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations (including those adjacent to Cyberhaven)\n\nExperience advising on security issues affecting data protection and insider risk, both accidental and malicious\n\nStrong understanding of endpoint protection best practices and of macOS, Linux, and Windows environments\n\nKnowledge of security controls for handling sensitive data types\n\nExperience overseeing technical analysis and the documentation and project management aspects of incident response for data security issues\n\nFamiliarity with cloud apps and services; passion for cloud technologies\n\nFamiliarity with AI tools such as Claude, Codex and building and developing agents\n\nExperience operating in a SaaS, services, or managed-services delivery model, including managing priorities across multiple customers\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with both creative and logical thinking\n\nCustomer-centric, highly motivated, with strong empathy and focus\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create and deliver management-level presentations and analysis on incident investigations\n\nEffective collaborator in a global, cross-functional team\n\nJoining Cyberhaven means joining the team building Data Security for the Agentic Enterprise.
