Brand Monitoring Specialist - Bangalore (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Brand Monitoring Specialist to join our team in protecting the digital integrity of our clients. In this role, you will be on the front lines of identifying and mitigating brand abuse, IP infringement, and cybersecurity threats across the global digital landscape.

What You’ll Do At Cyble:

• Intelligence Gathering: Proactively monitor public sources, social media, and proprietary databases to identify and organize information related to brand presence and potential threats.
• Threat Detection: Investigate and analyze suspicious activity, including infringing websites, phishing domains, and unauthorized social media accounts or posts.
• IP Enforcement: Utilize your knowledge of intellectual property rights to identify violations and execute the necessary enforcement actions across various platforms.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth secondary research and due diligence on assigned topics, interpreting complex website data and registrant information.
• Data Management: Mine critical data and maintain organized, high-quality data sheets using MS Excel.
• Reporting & Insights: Synthesize findings into comprehensive monthly reports and presentations using MS Word and PowerPoint to update internal stakeholders and clients.
• Client Relations: Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day client queries, providing clear and professional communication.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to ensure the seamless, timely delivery of projects and reports in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Enforcement Expertise: Proven experience in takedowns and enforcement across marketplaces, social media platforms, and domain-related abuse cases. This includes a solid understanding of the WIPO process and abuse reporting.
• Digital Infrastructure Knowledge: Good understanding of domain registration workflows, WHOIS lookups, DNS basics, registrar processes, and hosting provider coordination.
• Social Media & Ad Intelligence: Proficiency in navigating platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.) and a working knowledge of how malicious or infringing ad campaigns operate.
• Communication Excellence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically for crafting enforcement notices, delivering stakeholder updates, and handling escalations.
• Analytical & Investigative Mindset: Strong ability to monitor brand misuse, impersonation, and counterfeit listings at scale. You can determine if a post or article is violating a brand or if a phishing threat exists.
• Technological Adaptability: A proactive learner who stays ahead of emerging social technology and understands how new trends impact cybersecurity use cases.
• Organizational Skills: Master of time management with the ability to prioritize high-volume tasks, track outcomes, and meet strict deadlines.
• Software Literacy: High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Familiarity with abuse reporting workflows, ICANN-style escalation, and evidence packaging.
• Experience with monitoring tools, alerts, and platform-native reporting systems.
• Understanding of brand protection trends, counterfeit tactics, impersonation patterns, and ad abuse behavior.

Work Requirements:

Shift Flexibility: Must be willing to work in rotational shifts to ensure continuous global monitoring coverage.
