join an enterprise IT environment and take responsibility for the availability, stability, performance, and security of critical database platforms.\nYou’ll work with a broad technology landscape including DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase, while contributing to monitoring, automation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProject information:\nLocation: Katowice (Hybrid work model: 2 days from the office, 3 days remotly)\nType of employment: standard employment contract\nProject languages: French andEnglish\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure high availability, stability, and performance of enterprise database environments.\nDesign and implement monitoring solutions, performance indicators, and reliability metrics.\nAdminister and maintain enterprise database environments using technologies such as DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.\nManage and improve backup and recovery processes, including automation.\nSupport change management and contribute to system enhancements.\nInvestigate and resolve complex database incidents and performance issues.\nMaintain administrative procedures and ensure compliance with data security standards.\nProvide 2nd-line technical support.\nOptimize database structures, configurations, and overall performance.\nCollaborate with application development teams, including participation in database architecture reviews.\nContribute to the design of resilient database infrastructure and define required hardware and software solutions.\nRequirements:\nStrong understanding of database design and architecture principles.\nHands-on experience with database management systems.\nExperience managing database environments across their full lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting.\nGood understanding of database monitoring and key performance indicators affecting reliability and scalability.\nExperience working with high-availability database solutions.\nPractical experience with one or more of: DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.\nAbility to define hardware and software requirements for resilient database infrastructure.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supporting application development projects and reviewing database architecture.\nKnowledge of database
