Senior Backend Developer & Solution Architect (Data)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer & Solution Architect who combines hands-on backend and data delivery with technical leadership. You will act as a trusted technical partner for both the customer and the delivery team, driving architecture decisions while actively contributing to implementation. You will help solve complex technical challenges, review solutions and code, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

Project scope:

• Design and implement backend and data platform solutions
• Define and drive solution architecture across backend, data, and reporting layers
• Lead data modeling activities, including EPD-related data models
• Establish and oversee Data Quality Controls and data governance practices
• Review architecture, designs, and code to ensure quality and scalability
• Mentor and support development teams in solving complex technical challenges
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and customer representatives
• Support integration of AI capabilities into the enterprise data ecosystem
• Ensure seamless integration between Azure Databricks, backend services, and Power BI solutions

Competence demands:

• Strong experience as a Senior Backend Developer, Solution Architect, or similar role
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and DAX
• Strong background in data management, data modeling, and data quality
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Experience integrating backend, data, and analytics solutions
• Proven track record of integrating AI capabilities into enterprise data environments
• Experience conducting code reviews, technical design reviews, and mentoring developers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Very good English skills
