We re-invent flying and make individual air mobility as normal as driving a car - opening the sky for everyone.\n We are looking for a highly motivated Business Developer / Cost Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our international business development activities in the aviation and aerospace sector.\nThe ideal candidate combines a strong technical understanding with commercial expertise and has a passion for developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships and translating innovative technologies into compelling business cases and measurable customer value.\nA key aspect of this position is the ability to quantify the operational and economic benefits of advanced aerospace technologies and convert technical advantages into customer-relevant business metrics, investment cases and value propositions.\nYour Responsibilities\nIdentify and develop new business opportunities in the aviation and aerospace industry.\nIdentify customer needs and translate them into technical and commercial solutions.\nAnalyze customer operations, workflows and mission profiles to identify economic value drivers and improvement potential.\nDevelop quantitative customer value models for CycloTech's propulsion technologies and convert technical performance advantages into measurable economic benefits.\nDevelop customer-specific business cases, ROI models and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments.\nDevelop cost models, business cases and lifecycle economic assessments for aviation, aerospace and unmanned aircraft applications.\nWork closely with Engineering, Project Management and Senior Management.\nRepresent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, conferences and industry events.\nMonitor market developments, competitors and emerging technologies.\nSupport the management in strategic business development and growth initiatives.\n University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar discipline.\nMinimum 3 years of professional experience in Cost Engineering, Sales Engineering, Business Development, Project Management or a related field\nExperience in developing business cases, economic models, cost-benefit analyses or investment evaluations is highly desirable\nExperience in the aviation and/or aerospace industry is highly desirable\nStrong technical understanding combined with commercial thinking\nAbility to analyze complex operational environments and identify relevant economic value drivers\nAbility to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.\nStrong analytical and negotiation skills\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nEntrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction\nWillingness to travel internationally\nFluent English;
