You will manage and contribute in advancing detection, platform reliability, and security automation for managed clients.\nBeyond daily platform operations, the Senior Security Engineer leads advanced detection engineering, Create optimization and standardisation efforts, and serve as an escalation point for complex ingestion, telemetry, and investigation challenges. This role partners with MDR, SOC, architecture, and customer team members to ensure Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR implementations are, cost-effective, and in consideration of\nreal-world threat activity.\nAs a trusted technical advisor, you influence platform strategy, mentor junior engineers, and help shape service evolution by identifying gaps, improving alert fidelity, and ensuring scalable automation. You will represent the Cyderes brand through technical leadership, and delivery excellence that meets client expectations.\nYou will be reporting to Senior Manager, Managed Platforms.\nResponsibilities:\nDirectly manage Director, Sr. Manager, and Manager-level team members supporting IT security-based engineers assisting clients in the delivery of Managed Security Services.\nOversee Project Management Office activity associated with leading Managed and Consulting Service-related projects.\nLead all SIEM and EDR management support activities contained within Cyderes' service portfolio.\nEnhance all onboarding, and SIEM and EDR operational procedures, to optimize support models as needed improving operations efficiency.\nDevelop support of SIEM and EDR 3rd party launched features and functionality as it becomes available to Cyderes' client base.\nStay up-to-date with latest technologies and industry trends, and recommend new technologies to improve delivery of the services that the team members provide.\nCollaborate with our internal teams to define Cyderes' technical strategy.\nBuild operational measures that provide visibility into the performance levels of all operational team members.\nGet directly involved in resolving any and all client escalations as required.\nAct as an escalation point, 24x7, for any significant onboarding and operational and client issues that may occur.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field\nAt least ten years of experience in engineering, to include managing multiple organizations.\nExperience with SIEM technology such as Crowdstrike Next Gen, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and Google Chronicle\nFamiliarity with EDR technology such as Crowdstrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel One\nExperience in supporting client service onboarding activity.\nExperience in leading organizations within a Professional Service practice.\nExperience leading a global team of experienced engineers and managers.\nExperience in supporting client service delivery directly to include engagement with senior-level C-suite officers.\nConvey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.\nExperience working in a fast-paced
