The ideal candidate will apply state-of-the-art simulation tools and engineering judgment to ensure structural integrity, performance, and compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform detailed static, fatigue, damage tolerance, and dynamic analyses of metallic and composite aerospace structures using advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, primarily ANSYS.\nDevelop, refine, and correlate high-fidelity FEA models, including complex geometry meshing, boundary condition definition, and material characterization.\nInterpret and validate analytical results, identify critical structural locations, and recommend design optimizations to improve durability, weight efficiency, and manufacturability.\nPrepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation outlining analysis methodologies, results, and conclusions in accordance with applicable aerospace standards.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, materials, manufacturing, and stress teams to support data-driven design decisions.\nParticipate in formal design and program reviews, providing structural analysis expertise throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives through the development and implementation of new analytical methods, tools, and automation scripts.\nDiagnose and resolve complex structural challenges while meeting program schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience performing structural analysis for aerospace systems or components.\nProficiency with FEA software such as ANSYS (preferred), NASTRAN, Patran, or ABAQUS.\nStrong understanding of structural mechanics, including elasticity, plasticity, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and damage tolerance.\nExperience performing classical hand calculations and traditional stress analysis to support and validate numerical results.\nFamiliarity with aerospace materials, including composites, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys, and their structural behavior.\nExcellent technical communication, documentation, and presentation skills.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment.\n U.S. Citizenship required (subject to ITAR regulations).This position is budgeted for hourly $85k-$115k Please confirm if this range meets your
