In this role you will be responsible for the validation and characterization of mixed-signal and analog integrated circuits in Cyient Semiconductors' validation labs. You will design and develop test hardware and software, validate silicon performance against specifications, and support customers in the successful deployment of Cyient Semiconductors IC solutions. You will work closely with design, layout, product engineering and application teams to ensure high-quality silicon products are delivered to customers across industrial, automotive and biomedical applications.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nA self-motivated validation engineer who collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful silicon bring-up, characterization and product validation.\nSupport and promote a culture where a high quality of work, measurement accuracy and documentation are the norm.\nDevelop validation strategies, measurement plans and identify equipment/infrastructure needs to verify compliance against IC specifications.\nDesign, develop and maintain test hardware, evaluation boards, test scripts and laboratory setups for silicon validation activities and measurement automation.\nPerform electrical characterization, functional validation and performance testing of integrated circuits.\nAnalyze measurement data, debug silicon issues and proactively propose solutions in collaboration with design teams.\nSupport application and customer teams in technical discussions related to product validation, characterization and system integration.\nAttend project meetings and proactively communicate progress, risks, technical challenges and mitigation plans.\nDrive validation methodology improvements, measurement automation and reusable test practices within the organization.\nContribute to quality management activities, including issue tracking, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSkills and Competencies\nFluent (written and spoken) in English.\nUnderstanding of semiconductor product development and post-silicon validation methodologies with at least 3+ years of relevant experience.\nStrong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, including the operation and debugging of mixed-signal integrated circuits.\nHands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, source measurement units, logic analyzers, waveform generators and power supplies\nExperience with silicon bring-up, characterization, datasheet validation and correlation of measurement results against simulation and design expectations.\nExperience in schematic capture, PCB design review and development of validation hardware is highly desirable.\nProficiency in developing test and measurement software using Python, MATLAB or equivalent programming environments.\nExperience with common engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Altium Designer and LabView is an advantage.\nDevelopment knowledge on FPGA and microcontroller systems is a plus.\nStrong debugging and root-cause analysis skills to identify silicon, system or measurement setup-related issues.\nAccurate, detail-oriented and committed to high-quality measurement and documentation practices.\nAbility to multitask and proactively identify and solve technical issues.\nVery good technical communication skills, teamwork and problem solving mindset.\nMotivation to continuously learn and grow, supported by the expertise of the wider team and organization.\nEducation Level -
