C'est ainsi que, chez Pratt & Whitney, nous abordons notre travail et ce qui nous inspire à nous dépasser.\nNos attentes\nDans le cadre de votre poste d’agent de méthode, vous serez responsable de développer les méthodes de fabrication des composants de moteur P&WC (Turbines, compresseurs, chambre à combustion, etc.). Vous aurez la chance de collaborer au sein d’une équipe d’une soixantaine d’agent de méthode, de programmeurs NC, de spécialiste de procédés spéciaux et de spécialiste de l’inspection CMM.\nÀ quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?\nVous serez membre d’une équipe qui pour responsabilité de faire du rêve de l’ingénierie, une réalité dans l’usine. En effet, l’équipe a pour point de départ la conception reçue de l’ingénierie, puis définie les méthodes de fabrication et choisi les machines qui seront utilisées dans l’usine. Ainsi, vos tâches au quotidien seront :\n· Faire une revue de la conception de l’ingénierie pour en valider la mise en fabrication de la pièce;\n· Définir la stratégie de fabrication (procédés utilisées, séquencement, etc.);\n· Commander l’outillage requis, collaborer avec l’équipe de conception d’outil;\n· Rédiger les gammes de fabrication;\n· Support technique aux lignes de production;\n· Participer à l’achat d'équipement de fabrication;\n· Gestion de projet.\nCe dont vous avez besoin pour réussir\nLe candidat que nous recherchons est, comme nous, passionné par la fabrication. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of approximately 60 method agents, NC programmers, special process specialists and CMM inspection specialists. Candidate should be willing to work 100% at site at location - P&WC office, 1000 Bd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC J4G 1A1.\nWhat will your daily life be like?\nYou will be a member of a team whose responsibility is to make the dream of engineering a reality in the plant. In fact, the team starts with the design received from engineering, then defines the manufacturing methods and selects the machines that will be used in the plant. Thus, your daily tasks will be :\n· Review the engineering design to validate the manufacturing process of the part;\n· Define the manufacturing strategy (processes used, sequencing, etc.);\n· Order the required tooling, collaborate with the tool design team;\n· Write the manufacturing routines;\n· Technical support for production lines;\n· Participate in the purchase of manufacturing equipment;\n· Project management.\nRequired Skills\n· 0 -2 years of experience.\n· An academic background in mechanical engineering or aerospace manufacturing at the college or university level is required (or equivalent experience).\n· Candidate should be either Canadian citizen or a Permanent resident.\n· Language proficiency in both French & English\nDesired Skills\n· Experience as a method agent or NC programmer is an important asset.\n· Candidate living in Canada since past 5 years will be preferred.\n· Basic Knowledge of Catia V5.\nWhat you need to succeed\nThe candidate we are looking for is, like us, passionate about manufacturing.
