# Should Cost Engineer

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5-10 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing and Should Costing. Strong experience in product cost estimation and costing tools like aPriori, DFMA and TcPCM are desirable. Carryout should costing and Design to Cost analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Legacy with minimal/no supervision. Good exposure in manufacturing technologies like Plastics, Sheet metal, Casting, Plastics, forging and fabrication Knowledge of Heat & Surface Treatments process/ costing Should able to identify alternate manufacturing technologies and alternate materials. Should be good at Optimizing the best manufacturing process techniques. Strong background in VAVE & bench marking. Knowledge on conventional and CNC machines, manufacturing processes & time calculations.
