The Engineer will translate approved designs into reliable production environments and provide advanced troubleshooting for cloud and network issues.\n\nExperience with Cisco Meraki, Check Point firewalls, and Microsoft Hyper-V will be an added advantage.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAzure Infrastructure Deployment and Operations\n\nDeploy, configure, and administer Azure virtual machines, managed disks, availability configurations, and supporting Windows and Linux workloads.\nManage Azure Storage accounts, including Blob Storage and Azure Files, covering access controls, redundancy, lifecycle management, and data protection.\nDeploy and support infrastructure-related Azure services, including Azure App Service, Key Vault, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.\nManage subscriptions, resource groups, resource naming, tagging, and resource lifecycle activities according to organizational standards.\nConfigure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, and diagnostic settings to support availability, troubleshooting, and operational visibility.\nSupport capacity planning, resource sizing, performance tuning, and cost optimization.\n\nAzure Networking and Secure Connectivity\n\nDeploy and manage Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, network interfaces, IP addressing, and Network Security Groups.\nConfigure and troubleshoot virtual network peering, route tables, user-defined routes, and traffic flows between Azure, on-premises environments, and remote locations.\nImplement and support Azure VPN Gateway, site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.\nConfigure and administer Azure Bastion for secure administrative access to virtual machines.\nManage Azure DNS, Private DNS zones, Private Endpoints, and connectivity to Azure services.\nDeploy and support Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall, Azure Firewall, and NAT Gateway, as required.\nTroubleshoot routing, DNS resolution, VPN connectivity, latency, packet loss, and firewall-related issues.\nCollaborate with security teams to implement network segmentation, access restrictions, and secure connectivity standards.\n\nAutomation, Security, and Operational Improvement\n\nDevelop and maintain automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools.\nApply Infrastructure as Code practices to improve deployment consistency and configuration management.\nImplement role-based access control, managed identities, Azure Policy, and secure secret management in line with approved standards.\nSupport patching, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure hardening, and backup and recovery validation.\nUse approved AI tools to assist with scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational improvement, while protecting company information and validating outputs.\n\nProject Delivery, Support, and Documentation\n\nDeliver Azure and network infrastructure projects according to approved designs, schedules, budgets, and change management procedures.\nPlan and execute infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and connectivity changes, including testing, rollback planning, and post-change validation.\nProvide L3/L4 troubleshooting for escalated Azure and network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain infrastructure diagrams, configuration records, deployment procedures, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.\nCoordinate operational handovers and knowledge transfer to support teams.\nParticipate in on-call support and planned maintenance outside standard working hours, as required.\n\nRequired Qualifications and Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nMinimum of 6 years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience, preferably 6–8+ years, with substantial experience in Azure administration and networking.\nStrong practical experience deploying and supporting Azure virtual machines, storage accounts, Blob Storage, managed disks, monitoring, and backup services.\nHands-on experience with Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, peering, routing, VPN Gateway, Bastion, DNS, and Private Endpoints.\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.\nExperience administering Windows Server and Linux systems, including their networking and security configurations.\nProficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI, with practical experience using an Infrastructure as Code tool.\nUnderstanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, managed identities, and least-privilege access.\nExperience supporting production environments through incident management, change management, and structured troubleshooting.\nStrong communication, documentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work across global teams.\n\nPreferred Skills and Certifications\n\nCisco Meraki (Nice to have): Experience managing MX security appliances, MS switches, MR wireless access points, Auto VPN, and dashboard-based troubleshooting.\nCheck Point Firewalls (Nice to have): Experience with security policies, NAT, VPN configuration, logging, and troubleshooting.\nMicrosoft Hyper-V (Nice to have): Experience administering virtual machines, virtual switches, failover clusters, and host maintenance.\nExperience with ExpressRoute, BGP, and network virtual appliances.\nExperience with infrastructure migrations and backup and disaster recovery testing.\nFamiliarity with ITIL practices and ITSM platforms such as FreshService.\nRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer
