The Engineer will primarily be involved in configuring, deploying, and optimizing solutions encompassing cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), network systems, servers, storage, and virtualization technologies. A strong background in project execution and rigorous adherence to best practices and security standards is essential for success.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure Delivery & Deployment\nExecute and deliver complex infrastructure projects, ensuring solutions are deployed successfully, on time, within budget, and adhere to technical specifications.\nPerform configuration, deployment, and integration of core infrastructure components, including network devices (routing, switching, firewalls), physical and virtual servers, and storage systems (SAN/NAS).\nLead the deployment and configuration of enterprise cloud services, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure and AWS IaaS and PaaS environments.\nCollaborate closely with architecture and security teams to implement and enforce security measures during all deployment phases, ensuring infrastructure compliance.\nOperational Efficiency & Automation\nDevelop and implement automation and orchestration solutions (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline infrastructure deployments, configurations, and lifecycle management.\nParticipate in capacity planning and scalability assessments, ensuring implemented solutions are future-proof and can accommodate projected growth.\nUse of AI to improve the outcomes\nWork with Operations teams to facilitate smooth handovers of new infrastructure components, including developing runbooks and troubleshooting guides.\nMonitor system performance during and after deployment, performing optimization and fine-tuning to guarantee maximum performance and availability.\nSupport and Documentation\nProvide L3-L4 troubleshooting and technical expertise to resolve complex, escalated infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).\nMaintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and support guides.\nStay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in infrastructure and cloud engineering.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\nMinimum of 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, with a specific focus on projects & Operations.\nIn-depth, hands-on experience with:\nCloud Platforms: Configuration and deployment within Azure and/or AWS environments.\nServer Administration: Expertise in both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.\nVirtualization: Proven experience with platforms like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.\nNetworking: Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewall management.\nProficiency in scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code).\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure deployment challenges.\nDesired Skills and Certifications\nRelevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP).\nFamiliarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL.\nKnowledge of DevOps principles, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, methodologies.\nExperience in supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions.\nWorking for us:\nAt Cyncly, we call our team OneCyncly, a reflection of how we work together as one, united by our purpose: powering businesses that bring spaces to life.
