You will analyze suspicious programs and software, classify malware based on observed behaviors and known threats, and contribute threat intelligence and malware analysis reports.\nRequirements\nPrevious experience performing incident response in a Security Operations Center or an equivalent cybersecurity organization. \nHands-on experience with host and network digital forensics. \nStrong knowledge of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting. \nExpertise in identifying the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors. \nFamiliarity with malware analysis. \nAbility to coordinate assignments within a team and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. \nHands-on experience with at least one programming language. \nExperience monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions is an advantage. \nCompensation: The offered annual salary range for this role is USD 10,000-13,000. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including seniority level and relevant experience.\nWhat will you do\nInvestigate security alerts from the Cynet platform to detect threats and support live incident response engagements. \nAnalyze suspicious programs and software using relevant tools to identify threats and classify malware. \nProduce malware analysis reports. \nIdentify threats affecting global customers through advanced threat hunting services that complement standard Security Operations Center services. \nPerform analysis and forensics on security threats, malware, and attacks in the wild using industry-standard platforms and tools. \nRequirements\n1+ year of technical experience within the network, IT, or cyber security domains\nStrong understanding of network architecture and protocols (e.g. HTTP, DNS)\nHands-on approach to problem-solving\nAbility to understand and learn complex technological systems and identify critical areas\nExceptional analytical skills, creative out-of-the-box thinking, analytical mindset with research orientation\nStrong presentations and training skills\nExperience in operating security tools (e.g. FW, IDS, SIEM, Endpoint protection)\nWorking as an analyst in a Cyber SOC - an advantage\nExperience in exposing and exploiting vulnerabilities - an advantage\nAbout Us\nCynet is a leader in threat detection and response, designed to simplify security for organizations of all sizes.
