If you want to join a rapidly expanding organization, if you have a growth mindset and looking for an exciting, dynamic, and pioneering position for the healthcare industry, then this is a great opportunity for you.\nWe are looking for an experienced IT Systems Lead - Cloud & DevOps to take end-to-end ownership of Cyntegrity’s IT landscape and become the central point of expertise for our internal IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps operations.\nThis is a hands-on role with broad technical responsibility across Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps and CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, IT security, Microsoft 365, access management, and day-to-day IT operations. You will have the autonomy to shape how our IT environment evolves, introducing scalable processes, automation, and best practices as our organization develops.\nWorking closely with our Development team and company leadership, you will ensure that our IT environment remains secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant, while providing effective technical support to our fully remote, international team.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs an IT Systems Lead at Cyntegrity, you will:\nOwn IT Systems & Infrastructure: Take responsibility for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our IT systems and cloud infrastructure, primarily Microsoft Azure and partially AWS.\nDrive DevOps & Automation: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve development and operational processes.\nStrengthen IT Security & Reliability: Continuously improve the security, performance, scalability, and resilience of our IT environment, including access controls, monitoring, backup, and infrastructure security.\nManage IT Operations & Support: Own day-to-day IT operations, including user and access management, Microsoft 365 administration, onboarding/offboarding, IT requests, and technical troubleshooting.\nEnsure Compliance: Maintain IT systems in line with relevant data protection, security, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.\nShape IT Practices: Identify opportunities to improve and automate IT processes, documentation, standards, and ways of working.\nCollaborate Across the Business: Work closely with the CEO, Development, and other teams to align IT systems and priorities with business needs.\nEssential Criteria:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.\nExperience:\n5-7 years of proven experience inDevOps practices.\nHands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).\nStrong experience in managingIT ticket requestsand providing end-user support.\nSkills:\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.\nKnowledge:\nDeep understanding ofcloud infrastructure, including Azure and/or AWS ecosystems, and modern DevOps tooling.\nFamiliarity withIT service management (ITSM)and ticketing systems.\nUnderstanding ofdata protection regulations(e.g., GDPR, Data Protection Act).\nCertifications:Relevant certifications inAzure(e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) andDevOps(e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.\nWhat We Offer:\nEnd-to-end ownership: Take responsibility for Cyntegrity’s IT landscape and have the opportunity to shape our systems, processes, security, and technology practices.\nBroad technical scope: Work across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, security, and IT operations rather than being limited to one narrow technical area.\nVisible impact: Work in a growing technology company where your decisions and improvements have a direct impact on the entire organization.\nA purpose-driven mission to improve global clinical research.\nA collaborative, international team that values flexibility, autonomy, and transparency.\nFully remote work setup with a results-driven culture.\nOpportunities for professional growth and development.\nAbout Cyntegrity:\nWe support sponsors and CROs with clinical trial risk management technology and related educational programs to bring therapies to market faster, safer, and more cost-effectively.
